Powell is getting its first rooftop bar this spring
As the weather improves, a new rooftop bar is coming to downtown Powell.
According to a press release, Lani Rooftop Lounge will open this spring at 50 E. Olentangy St., bringing elevated cocktails and globally inspired food to the growing Delaware County suburb. The venue will sit atop the newly opened COhatch Powell campus and is expected to open to the public April 9, according to social media.
The lounge is being touted as Powell’s first rooftop bar and one of only about 10 rooftop bars across Central Ohio, offering both indoor and outdoor seating above the city’s walkable downtown area.

The rooftop lounge’s menu will focus on globally inspired small plates and craft cocktails.
According to COhatch, the Powell project is part of a broader effort to help revitalize the city’s downtown district. The development includes a roughly 14,000-square-foot building with private offices, coworking areas, and shared meeting spaces designed for entrepreneurs and local businesses.
The Powell campus will also feature the Middlebury Member House, a restored historic home that will serve as a private gathering and work space for members when it opens later this spring.
