Sales spike 5,000% at this Columbus pizza joint after featured in ‘Love is Blind’ episode
If you blinked, you might have missed the pizza box from a Columbus favorite. But true Love is Blind fans know not to look away during an argument scene.
After Amber and her fiance Jordan had a brief disagreement on Netflix’s hit show, Love is Blind, which is set in Columbus this season, the scene cuts to Jordan sadly hovering over a giant Mikey’s Late Night Slice “Plain-Ass Pep” pizza box with an entire bottle of garlic sauce.

The scene was only about 12 seconds long. But apparently, it left a mark on Columbus.
Mikey’s Late Night Slice, which opened in Columbus in 2009 and is known for huge New York-style slices and pies, said that their signature garlic sauce sales have increased by 5,000% in the two days following the episode’s release, and social media engagement has soared.
In honor of their cameo and the Love is Blind finale, Mikey’s has a special tomorrow night: order two whole pies and receive a complimentary bottle of garlic sauce. Their Ohio State campus location is also hosting a finale party tomorrow night!
