Seasoned caterer opens from-scratch soul food restaurant
If you’ve been to an event in the past eight years, with the most delicious catered food like mac & cheese, stewed chicken, oxtails, or chicken alfredo lasagna, chances are it was made by Tee’s Southern Kitchen.
And now, you don’t have to go to a wedding or baby shower to grab some of that sweet, sweet banana pudding.
Tee’s Southern Kitchen, a local catering company for almost a decade, just opened their first brick & mortar at 2384 Sullivant Ave.!

Right now, Tee’s is only open for dinner service on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays from 4PM-8PM, but it’s worth the stop in. “We would love to be able to service everyone and everyday, unfortunately we can not. All food is made from love, scratch and with care. We can only store so much food to keep food safe for the public. So we will sell out of some items,” explained Chef Tee on Facebook.
On their opening day, there was already a line out of the door if that tells you anything.
