Short North cocktail bar bringing new concept to High Street

A Short North cocktail spot is trekking up High Street to launch a spin-off concept.

According to a press release from The Alibi Bourbon & Cocktail Lounge, the popular spot is bringing a new concept, Proof by the Alibi, to the Old North.

Proof, as it’s colloquially called, will be located at 2598 N. High St., in the former home of Bossy Grrl’s Pin Up Joint. It will hold a grand opening event April 2-4.

The menu for the new concept will be “entirely unique” compared to The Alibi. It will imitate the intimate format of The Alibi, although it plans to boast “an even more cozy back-room space well suited for private gatherings,” according to a press release.

Proof by the Alibi will be open seven days a week from 4 p.m.-12 a.m.
