Snow plow drives into Columbus-area Jimmy John’s, shatters front window
A Bexley Jimmy John’s is open despite a snow plow plowing into it.
According to a Jimmy John’s employee, the incident occurred earlier this week while the plow was attempting to clear snow from the area. The Bexley Jimmy John’s is located at 2497 E. Main St.
“The truck was just plowing the parking lot, and then a part of it came through the window. Thankfully the whole truck didn’t come through,” the Jimmy John’s employee told 614Now.

The incident resulted in one of the building’s large, street-facing windows next to its front entrance shattering. The window is currently board up and repairs are underway. The Bexley Jimmy John’s will remain open, and its regular hours will not be affected by the crash.
The incident comes just days after a van ran into new Summit Street eatery Mezcla, causing it to close indefinitely.
