Team Edward or Team Jacob? Twilight-themed matcha pop-up coming to Columbus taproom

Hold on tight, spider monkeys, this local taproom is hosting a Twilight-themed pop-up to celebrate this glorious fall weather.

Honest Friend Brewing, located at 2112 S. High St., will open its doors a few hours earlier on September 28 to hold Monday Matcha, an event from local mobile matcha cafe Golden Goblet—with an autumnal twist.

While guests can sip on delicious, freshly made matcha drinks and enjoy mini pancakes from Columbus-renowned FOR. Cart, Honest Brewing will transport everyone to Forks, Washington, to screen the cult classic film Twilight.

The pop-up cafe menu will include themed drinks such as Skin of a Killer Refresher and Loca Mocha Matcha, alongside Love at First Bite mini pancakes.

Whether you are Team Edward or Team Jacob, or just here for the fall menu, Honest Friend is cooking up a line up of themed events for the season and which may include a screening of the rest of The Twilight Saga. 

The Matcha Monday pop-up event will take place at Honest Friend Brewing from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Twilight will begin at 11 a.m.
