The new German Village bakery that sells out within hours of opening

Another micro-bakery has popped up in Columbus, serving bread right off of their front porch.

Still Rising Bakery, a local micro-bakery in German Village, officially opened for online pre-orders on August 25, offering homemade bread, pancake mix, biscotti cookies, scones, granola, and more weekly specials.

Orders are available for pickup at its stand located at 579 S. Grant Ave. on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon. Walk-up shopping is also available at the stand on Wednesdays from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 7 a.m. to noon, or until supplies run out. Purchases made through the stand are self-serve and use an honor-system pay cart.

While Still Rising is still in its early stages, the Columbus community has been acting fast: between pre-orders and walk-ups, its weekly bread and cookie selections sell out within hours of the stands opening.

All items are homemade with fresh, local ingredients and sell out fast, so shop the Still Rising stand in German Village before it’s gone.
