Upscale Indian restaurant expanding in Central Ohio

Powell is getting a new edition in 2026—Khaab Indian Kitchen & Bar has announced plans for a new location. According to a press release, the restaurant promises traditional recipes, a contemporary vibe, and elevated hospitality.

The release said “Khaab Indian Kitchen & Bar is opening its newest location in Powell, bringing elevated Indian cuisine and a vibrant bar experience to the growing community! Known for bold flavors, modern presentation, and welcoming atmosphere, Khaab blends traditional recipes with a contemporary dining vibe. The new Powell spot promises refined dishes, handcrafted cocktails, and an upscale yet inviting space perfect for everything from date nights to celebrations. Building on the success of its Bexley location, Khaab’s expansion reflects a vision to create memorable dining experiences that go beyond the plate. Guests can expect thoughtfully curated menus, attentive hospitality, and a stylish ambiance designed to become a neighborhood favorite for both casual evenings and special occasions. A grand opening is planned for Spring 2026, welcoming the Powell community to experience Khaab’s signature flavors and elevated hospitality”. 

The new location will be at 230 W. Olentangy St. in Powell, Ohio. The opening date has not been confirmed, but you can visit their other location here in the meantime.
