‘We’ve been informed that we have to leave:’ Central Ohio pizzeria closing location

A Central Ohio pizza place will close the doors of its current location in less than a month.

According to a social media post from Firehouse Pizza–which is approximately 40 minutes from Downtown Columbus, located at 4 S. Main St. in Thornville–has announced that its last day of operation in its current space will be June 6.

“As some of you have heard, our building is being sold, the new owners have something different planned, and we’ve been informed that we have to leave,” the restaurant’s post reads.

Fans of the concept can rest assured that Firehouse won’t be closed for long, as the brand noted that it has secured a new location. The new space is not in Thornville, however, and likely out of delivery range for many of the brand’s current customer base.

Firehouse did not share its new location, but said it will do so “in the coming weeks” as details of the new storefront are finalized. The post stated the pizzeria will likely open its new location 4-8 weeks after leaving its current home in early June.
