‘World Famous $5 Candy Buffet’ coming soon to Central Ohio
Delaware is getting a sweet addition soon—Grandpa Joe’s Candy Shop is set to join Sandusky Street. The announcement comes via social media.

The post said, “Opening Soon (Very Soon!) at 17 N. Sandusky Street, Downtown Delaware. We’re not your average Joe candy shop. Prepare to be amazed with an unbelievable selection of hard-to-find nostalgic favorites, a collection of international candies unmatched in the region, over 350 varieties of glass bottled craft soda, ice cream, popcorn, and unique toys, games, and gifts! Oh, and we shouldn’t forget to mention: our World Famous $5 Candy Buffet!”
The store promises that if you come in looking for “that one candy you used to get as a child” they guarantee the shop will “figure it out or die trying”. The chain was started in Pittsburgh in 2012, and has since grown to more than 20 locations across Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Florida, and Minnesota. The store boasts hard-to-find nostalgic candies, hand-dipped ice cream, and a team of candy experts on staff. An opening date has not been confirmed, stay tuned and follow them here for updates.
