Following a premiere of their episodic project “Freelance” at Sundance Film Festival, two Columbus-based filmmakers are bringing the project to Yellow Springs for an Ohio premiere.

The comedy television pilot follows the story of a young filmmaker as he documents his journey making his first movie. He moves in with a group of creatives trying to support each other’s dreams in an oversaturated market. The fledgling crew of 20-somethings take a mixed bag of jobs to build their brand and pay rent.

You can catch the Ohio premier at the Yellow Springs Mini-Fest, where the filmmakers will be available for a Q&A after the show. The pair are hoping to bring the full season of “Freelance” to a wider audience soon. You can keep up with the Turner brothers and their work via Instagram
