16 indicted for allegedly operating drug ring out of Ohio car wash

More than a dozen individuals were hit with a federal indictment for their alleged involvement in a drug that was operated out of a Mansfield Car Wash.

According to federal investigators, 16 people were arrested on Wednesday for their alleged involvement in a large-scale drug operations. The arrested individuals include:

Nashone Howard, aka Black, 53, of Mansfield
Edward Brooks, 67, of Ontario
Joann Robertson, 73, of Mansfield
Effie James, 69, of Mansfield
Jaynell Thornton, 67, of Mansfield
Timothy Moyer, 67, of Mansfield
Paul Baumer, 59, of Mansfield
Dreama Henderson, 42, of Mansfield
David George, 55, of Mansfield

Investigators believe large quantities of drugs and the proceeds from the sale of these drugs were stored in the New Millennium Car Wash & Auto Detail, which is located at 200 W. 4th St.

Throughout the three-year investigation, authorities seized the following: 895 grams of cocaine, 127 oxycodone pills, 50 grams of crack cocaine, 1.5 kilograms of methamphetamine, 1,980 pressed fentanyl tablets, and 120 grams of powdered fentanyl. Agents also seized cash proceeds totaling more than $61,832 and numerous illegally-owned firearms.
