20 tons of Mac ‘n’ cheese donated to Columbus food bank
Mid-Ohio Food Collective received a hefty donation recently that left them “cheesin’ ear to ear.” The organization received 20 tons of frozen mac and cheese in a donation from Heritage Cooperative and Land O’Lakes.

Mid-Ohio Food collective confirmed via social media. The post said, “This donation has us cheesin’ ear to ear. A huge thank you to Heritage Cooperative and Land O’Lakes for teaming up to donate 20 tons of frozen mac and cheese to Mid-Ohio Food Collective last week! This generous donation will help fuel our direct feeding operations and get meals to our neighbors facing food insecurity. We’re also thankful for an additional $10,000 in cash support, with Heritage Cooperative and Land O’Lakes each donating $5,000. This support will help us meet the near-record demand for food assistance we’re seeing across our community. We’re so grateful for partners like Heritage Cooperative and Land O’Lakes who continue to show up for our neighbors when they need us most. Thanks for helping us serve up a little more good in our community!”
