400 acres of empty Central Ohio land proposed for new mixed-use development with 700+ housing units
New details have emerged of an enormous mixed-use development that’s proposed to be constructed on about 400 acres of land in a Central Ohio suburb.
Sky Ranch at Darby Creek, a project submitted by JDM Group Co., is on its way to 9291 W. Broad St. in Galloway City proper. Plans for 511 single-family unit homes, 112 townhomes, and 48 independent living homes in the $200,000-$800,000 price range are in the works.

Along with the 700+ housing units, plans for multiple commercial spaces are also outlined, providing “neighborhood-scale services that reduce travel distances for residents and support the local economy,” according to the submitted outline.
The final plans for this new development, Sky Ranch, will be addressed at the next West Jefferson Village Council meeting on February 17.
