$5,800 puppy stolen from Ohio Petland

According to the Strongsville location of Petland, a 9-week-old Shih Tzu puppy named Zima was stolen on Monday afternoon.

Surveillance video shared with the police shows a woman walking out with the puppy that has a $5,800 price tag.

Petland puppy thefts seem to be nothing new in Ohio. A couple years ago, a $5,000 Yorkshire Terrier was stolen in Parma, and an Olde English Bulldog worth $6,500 was also stolen from that same Petland two years later.

Thankfully, Zima was found by the Strongville Police and returned to the Petland location.

“Zima is back, safe and sound, and surrounded by lots of love and a few extra treats. Thank you, Strongsville. We truly couldn’t have done it without you,” a social media post from the Strongsville Petland reads.
