Pizza Hut confirms nostalgic remodels in Ohio

Tiffany-style lamps, red plastic cups, vinyl booths and checkered tablecloths. If this stirs memories of Pizza Hut trips as a kid—get excited. The 68 year old national pizza chain announced in a press release that they’re going retro in 2026 and bringing back their OG ‘90s decor in more than 150 locations.

According to Pizza Hut, owned by Yum! Brands, the remodels will even include the return of the iconic red roof. Locations participating in the remodeling project in and around Central Ohio include Pickerington, Washington Court House, Mount Gilead, and Zanesville. From humble beginnings in 1958, Pizza Hut has grown into the second-largest pizza company in the world with more than 19,000 locations in 108 countries. In addition to a nostalgic interior, the company said they plan to bring back ‘90s menu favorites including the original pan pizza crust.
