A Hallmark moment? Global card retailer adding Central Ohio store

A global retailer is expanding in Central Ohio—Delaware is getting a new Hallmark store.

Karen’s Hallmark Shop is coming to 820 Sunbury Road in Delaware, joining the shops at Glennwood Commons. According to signage posted at the storefront, the new retail spot is expected to open in October, with hiring already underway for the location.

The store will be located in the Glennwood Commons shopping center, giving Delaware shoppers a new spot to pick up greeting cards, gifts, seasonal decor and Hallmark’s famous Keepsake Ornaments. Karen’s Hallmark is a family-owned Hallmark Gold Crown retailer with locations throughout Ohio. The stores carry Hallmark cards and gifts along with seasonal merchandise, collectibles, home decor and Keepsake Ornaments.

The retailer already has several Central Ohio locations, making the Delaware store its latest expansion in the region. With the store expected to open just as holiday shopping season gets underway, Delaware residents won’t have to travel far for their Hallmark fix this year. Stay tuned for an opening announcement.
