You know what they say — when one door closes, another door opens. And in this case, the space inside of those doors smells so good.

Anthropologie, the global retailer known for boho-chic women’s clothing, wedding dresses, home goods, and yes — their iconic scent Volcano by Capri Blue — is opening a 9,000 square feet space next spring at The Shops on Lane Avenue in Upper Arlington.

This Anthropologie won’t be the same as the one that closed in the Short North last year. The new store will feature an Anthropologie Weddings section, which is a pretty huge deal, considering there are only a handful around the country.

This wedding section offers gowns, bridesmaid dresses, and wedding decor and accessories.

Anthropologie, a sister retailer to Urban Outfitters and Free People, first opened in Pennsylvania back in 1992. Since then, it’s grown to hundreds of locations, both here in the U.S. and in Europe.
