After nearly a decade, this West Side business has closed

A West Side auto sales shop has called it quits after nearly a decade. 

According to a social media post from the brand, Georgesville Nissan has permanently closed. The store, which originally opened in 2017, was located at 1260 Auto Mall Dr.

A statement from the car dealership noted Georgesville Nissan will consolidate operations and vehicles with Buckeye Nissan, which is located at 3280 Parkway Ln.

It’s unclear why the dealership decided to close its doors.

“After serving Columbus’ west side for nearly a decade, Georgesville Nissan has made the decision to consolidate operations into one easy location with our sister store, Buckeye Nissan,” the brand’s post reads. “Nothing about owning your Nissan changes–many of your favorite sales associates, service advisors, sales, service, parts, warranty work and paperwork all continue at Buckeye Nissan–less than 10 miles up the road.”
