Watch: Car reverses on 270 after missing exit
An incident has added fuel to Columbus’ growing reputation for reckless driving.
A video is making the rounds online after a car was caught on traffic cameras backing up on I-270 in southeast Columbus after missing the US-33 exit. At around 4:30 a.m. last Thursday, the car can be seen reversing on the right side of the bridge with its hazard lights on while traffic continues past. No crash occurred.

Matt Bruning, press secretary for the Ohio Department of Transportation, posted the video to his Facebook page with a fitting word of advice: “Obviously, don’t do this.”
