A rustic wooden house with large windows extends over a small pond, surrounded by lush green trees and grass on a sunny day.

A Columbus-area home that redefines the term “waterfront property” is currently making its way across the internet.

Yesterday, the home at 3500 Kitzmiller Rd. in New Albany was featured by the viral real estate Instagram account Zillow Gone Wild.

According to the website of Howard Hanna Real Estate services, the property’s most unique feature—a bridge spanning Blacklick Creek that leads directly to its front entrance—was built first, and the home was erected around it.

“What started as a simple bridge in the 1950s has evolved into an architectural marvel that defies expectation,” Howard Hanna’s website reads.

Located on five acres of land, the Kitzmiller Road property also features a living room with massive, light-filled windows that juts out over the water of Blacklick Creek. You can check out more photos of the home here.

The home features three bedrooms, two bathrooms and 2,195 square feet. It’s currently listed for sale at $799,000.
