Central Ohio pub selected for filming location in upcoming movie

Sloopy’s Pub in Hilliard is having a moment in the spotlight—the bar was selected as a filming location in an upcoming movie.

Sloopy’s shared about the experience via social media. The post reads “We had an exciting morning at The Place To Be today! Our bar was selected as a filming location for a scene in an upcoming movie, which was such a great experience for us. I even had the opportunity to take a few photos with Ethan Cutkosky. It was fascinating to see everything that goes on behind the scenes, the amount of setup, equipment, coordination, and teamwork involved is truly impressive. The entire cast and crew were incredibly professional and kind. We’re grateful to have been part of it and look forward to seeing the final project when it’s released.” 

The film stars Ethan Cutkosky—you may know him as Carl Gallagher on the show Shameless. The movie is an indie horror film titled Night Flirt, a release date has not been confirmed. Sloopy’s is located at 5488 Roberts Rd. and they’re open 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 A.M. daily.
