One dead after shooting at Ohio Costco

Man identified in shooting at Strongsville, Ohio Costco

A 61-year-old Cleveland man has died after being shot in the parking lot of a Costco in Strongsville, Ohio on Saturday, according to police. A 22-year-old Fort Worth, Texas man has been charged with murder in connection with the shooting.

Police responded to reports of a shooting at the Costco located at 16690 Royalton Road around 5:45 p.m. The Strongsville Police Department confirmed the identity of the suspect via Facebook. 

The post said, “The victim in this case is Cleveland resident, Randolph E. Corrigan who was an employee of Costco. A 22-year-old male, Christian M. Bryant of Fort Worth Texas has been arrested. Bryant is set for video arraignment in Berea Municipal Court for this morning at 10:30 a.m. Bryant will be arraigned on the charge of murder, an unclassified felony, in violation of section 2903.02 (A) of the Ohio revised code. The case will be presented to the grand jury at a later date and additional charges may be added at that time. This incident continues to be under investigation.”

According to WKYC Channel 3, as the hearing came to a close, Bryant said, “This man approached me with a knife.” Bryant is being held in jail on a $5 million bond. The case is being bound over to the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas for consideration by a grand jury.
