Columbus hotel named best in Ohio by ‘U.S. News & World Report’

A local hotel was tapped as the best in the state by U..S. News & World Report.

Last week, the publication unveiled its list of the Best Hotels in the USA for 2026, with Le Méridien Columbus, The Joseph claiming the top spot in Ohio.

“Travelers consistently praise the property’s comfortable beds, the tasty food at the on-site eatery and the employees for being exceptionally hospitable and helpful,” The U.S. News & World Report list reads.

The Joesph was ranked the top hotel in Ohio, and the 519th best in the country, receiving a 4 out of 5 total stars, and a rating of “great.” The list includes a total of 30,000 hotels.

The outlet included three other Columbus hotels in the state’s 10 best, Hotel LeVeque at 7, The Junto at 8 and Hilton Columbus Downtown at 10.

The top hotel in the country, according to U.S. News & World Report is the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai, which is located in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.
