Columbus man charged after allegedly threatening to shoot ICE agents on X
A Columbus man has been charged after he allegedly threatened to kill U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents on X, formerly Twitter.
According to federal investigators, 21 year-old Juan Mesael Novoa was charged in late January with one count each of threatening to assault or murder a federal law enforcement officer (punishable by up to 10 years in prison) and making threatening interstate communications (punishable by up to five years in prison).

Using the screen names “Lord of Frenzied Flame” and “Father2High,” Novoa allegedly posted “they should blast every ice agent they find” last June. In November, he allegedly posted “can’t wait to shoot these p***y ice agents and r******d maga maggots.”
In December, federal agents executed a search warrant at his home and seized two rifles, two shotguns, a handgun and ammunition.
