Man arrested after allegedly exposing himself to boy at Central Ohio pool
A Delaware man was arrested after allegedly exposing himself to an underage victim at a public pool last week.
According to a press release from the Marysville Police Division, officers were called to the Marysville Municipal Pool at 7:51 p.m. on July 7.
Responding officers spoke to pool employees and an underage male swimmer, who told them a man exposed himself to the victim and made “obscene gestures” while the man and the boy were in the pool locker room.

The man was later identified as 43 year-old Namon Joshua IV. The age of the victim was not disclosed. Joshua was arrested on July 8 and charged with kidnapping, public indecency, and importuning.
As of Monday morning, he remains in Tri-County Regional Jail, which is located in Mechanicsburg.
“We want to commend the young victim for immediately alerting a trusted adult, and the pool staff for their response. Their joint efforts ensured the victim’s safety, and directly led to the suspect’s arrest, helping to keep Marysville safe,” Marysville police said in a press release.
