Dublin storefront closes after 40 years

A longtime Dublin storefront has closed its doors.

As of May 1, local Dancewear supplier Opening Night! has closed its Dublin space. It was located at 6371 Sawmill Rd. The brand plans to continue operating out of its Gahanna storefront, which is located at 163 Granville St.

“We are sad to have to close this location as we have been there over 40 years, but we are excited for what the future brings,” a social media post from Opening Night! Reads. “We hope you follow us to Gahanna!”

The local retailer offers clothing and accessories for dancing, gymnastics, cheerleading and more, including clothing, dance shoes, bags, even selling charms and charm bracelets. Customers can shop at their Gahanna location, or make purchases through their online store.

According to Opening Night!’s Instagram post, the brand is currently exploring the possibility of offering pop-up stores, coming to local studios during the back-to-school season, or potentially opening another location.
