First of the year: Car ‘crashes’ into Columbus pizza spot on New Year’s Day
That didn’t take long at all.
Late last week, the Grandview-area spot Meister’s Bar posted a short video clip of a silver SUV knocking into the side of the building, which is located at 1186 Chambers Rd. The vehicle appeared to have been trying to park, but the circumstances of the “crash” are currently unclear.

According to Meister’s surveillance camera system, the incident took place just before 8 p.m. on Jan. 1
Is this the very first Columbus car crashing into a 2026? It’s hard to say. We can feel confident saying, however, that Meister’s wasn’t damaged in the lovetap, and the popular bar and pizzeria (known for its Chicago deep dish pies) has remained open.
