After a fire on April 12 caused serious damage and the indefinite closure of the historic German Village burger spot The Thurman Cafe, Schmidt’s Sausage Haus is doing their part to aid their neighbor.

From April 27 to May 3, Schmidt’s will be donating $1 for every cream puff they sell to help The Thurman Cafe recover and reopen, according to an Instagram post

“Every little bit helps. Join us in supporting a beloved German Village staple,” the post reads.
