Following sale to new owners, one of Ohio’s oldest Inns announces reopening

One of the most historic inns in Ohio has announced their grand reopening gala following an ownership change and major restoration project. The historic Buxton Inn, located at 313 E. Broadway in Granville, announced the gala via social media.

The post said, “ Big news from the Buxton. Mark your calendars. On September 23, The Buxton Inn will officially celebrate its Grand Reopening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring Ohio Governor Mike DeWine, followed by a gala benefiting the Granville Historical Society. Behind the scenes, we’re making incredible progress every day, restoring the property, preparing the restaurant, growing our team, and getting ready to welcome guests back through our doors. This is only the beginning. A brand-new website is launching soon, restaurant updates are just around the corner, and we’ll be sharing more behind-the-scenes progress every week. According to a report from The Reporting Project, the 214-year-old landmark inn was sold to the Worthington-based New England Development Company. The New England Development Company previously owned the Worthington Inn.
