Hollywood Casino announces opening date for new hotel

PENN Entertainment, Inc. has announced June 12th as the opening date for a new state-of-the- art hotel at Hollywood Casino Columbus.

According to a press release, the 203-room hotel represents a major expansion for Hollywood Casino Columbus. It will offer guests modern, upscale accommodations at the city’s premier gaming, dining and entertainment experience. The 150,000 square-foot tower will feature 183 standard rooms and 20 luxury suites, a full service bar and restaurant—The Hill Eatery & Lounge, conference rooms, fitness center and an outdoor seating terrace. Guests will be able to book rooms beginning April 15th by visiting the Hollywood Casino Columbus website.

The release also specifies that the hotel will add roughly 100 new jobs to the west side of Columbus. Hollywood Casino Columbus will host job fairs for all hotel staff positions on March 27th and April 10th. The property will host a grand opening on June 12th with an outdoor festival and concert.
