New indie bookstore coming to High Street

Downtown Worthington is getting a new addition this summer—The Whispering Page has announced via social media that they plan to open in July. The shop will be located in the 661 N. High St. block, next to Old Bag of Nails and Vernacular.

The announcement said, “Something special is coming to Worthington! A brand new bookstore is opening its doors soon, and we couldn’t be more excited to share it with this community. New shelves, new stories, new adventures, all just around the corner! Stay tuned. The next chapter starts here.” The shop confirmed via social media that the store will carry all genres, primarily carrying new books for sale. Used books will have their moment too, the store plans to hold used book swaps. 

According to the announcement, the store is planning to open in July. Follow their Instagram for updates, and stay tuned for an opening date.
