‘Knew in my heart it would temporary:’ Columbus-area boutique closing doors
A Central Ohio boutique and florist will be closing the doors of its Grove City storefront for good.
In a social media post made on Aug. 18, Butterfly Boutique announced that it will close for good on Oct. 1.
“This little shop has been such a special chapter of my life, but I always knew in my heart that it would be temporary,” the post reads. “Running a small business is so much more than what people see — you’re the janitor, accountant, shopper, florist, decorator, marketer, delivery driver, and everything in between. It takes a lot of time, energy, and heart.”

It’s unclear whether the concept–which operates as flower delivery services, but also sells trinkets, crafts and in-store floral arrangements–will continue to operate without a physical storefront.
Butter Boutique will offer 20 percent off everything until it closes in October. The store is open 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, and is located at 4038 Broadway in Grove City.
