Columbus cinema named one of Yelp’s 25 best independent theaters

Studio 35 tapped as Yelp top 25 independent theater in the U.S.

A local cinema was tapped by Yelp as one of the top 25 independent movie theaters that every film buff needs to visit. Studio 35, located at 3055 Indianola Ave., ranked no. 6 on the list.

The article said, “Studio 35 Cinema & Drafthouse was the first movie theater in the country to have a liquor license, issued in the early 1970s. This cinema has 40 draft beer lines, pizza, subs, wings, and more. They offer a variety of programming from blockbuster movies, indie flicks, beer tastings, ‘Rocky Horror Picture Show,’ and other community events.” The ranking is a comprehensive, “all-time list of the top Independent movie theaters in the U.S., according to Yelp Elites.”
