National food publication publishes Columbus food guide

A national food publication just laid out a perfect weekend itinerary for the full Columbus experience. Eater released an article laying out “Three days of hot dogs, boutiques, and football for an Ohio State Buckeyes game weekend.”

If you’re coming to Columbus for an Ohio State game, Eater has your weekend plans covered. They said, “Columbus is always evolving. In the city, historical landmarks such as the Ohio Statehouse and tributes like the Columbus Museum of Art serve as a snapshot of the past, while the bustling streets of the University District and the Short North represent the future. No matter your taste, the city has something to explore.” The guide lays out activities in the Short North, North Market, German Village, and so much more.

The itinerary kicks off with stops at notable spots like Momo Ghar, Wario’s Beef & Pork and Goodale Station, plus time for the Columbus Museum of Art, Goodale Park and some Short North shopping.

They laid out your Saturday brunch, vintage shopping for Ohio State gear, a walk around campus, tailgating, and finally the game inside the Horseshoe. After the game, Eater recommends heading back out for Short North nightlife before ending the night with Dirty Frank’s Hot Dog Palace and Buckeye Donuts.

Sunday is a recovery day with Katalina’s, German Village, The Book Loft, Schiller Park and Franklin Park Conservatory, followed by dinner at longtime Columbus gem—Lindey’s.
