Owner of popular Franklinton bar to be featured on ‘Shark Tank’ tonight
A Columbus bar owner is set to appear on the hit TV show Shark Tank tonight.
Megan Pando, founder of Maker’s Social in Franklinton will appear on Shark Tank this evening. The episode will air Jan. 14, from 10-11 p.m. The show gives a panel of self-made millionaires and investors, known as The Sharks, a chance to invest in the businesses brought before them, including Maker’s Social.

Maker’s Social, which is located at 461 W. Rich St., is a craft-focused bar where patrons can do everything from jewelry-making to leather working, all while grabbing a beer or cocktail and socializing
“I started this business just a month before the pandemic hit, making the launch of Makers Social one of the most challenging experiences of my life,” said Pando. “Receiving the invitation to appear on Season 17 of Shark Tank was a surreal and deeply gratifying moment. I’m proud to represent Columbus on a national platform.”
