Police execute search warrant on local massage parlor; arrest made on prostitution charges

Following the Columbus city attorney and county prosecutor shutting down a pair of spas late last week, another Central Ohio self-care spot has landed in hot water.

According to a Facebook post from the city of Powell, a search warrant was executed yesterday morning at K Spa, which is located at 240 N. Liberty St. in Powell.

“This warrant was the result of a months-long investigation into suspected illegal activities occurring at this business. Investigators with the Central Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force, Powell Police Department, Ohio Bureau of Investigation (BCI) and the Ohio Organized Crime Investigations Commission are currently processing the location for evidence,” the post reads.

Additionally, one person was arrested in relation to the K Spa investigation. Accoprding to Delaware County Court of Common Pleas records, 51 year-old Yixiang He was charged yesterday with one count of money laundering and on count of promoting prostitution, both of which are felonies.
