Popular online outlet opening first Dublin location

A new destination for discounted furniture and home décor is headed to Central Ohio.

Wayfair’s website confirms a Wayfair Outlet is coming to 6765 Dublin Center Dr. in Dublin, with the company saying it will announce grand opening details soon.

Unlike a traditional Wayfair retail store, Wayfair Outlet locations specialize in open-box, overstock, returned and discontinued items, giving shoppers the chance to purchase furniture and home goods at discounted prices. The company says new inventory arrives weekly, meaning the selection changes regularly.

The upcoming Dublin outlet expands Wayfair’s growing brick-and-mortar presence in Ohio. Earlier this year, the company opened its first full-size Ohio retail store near Polaris at 1551 Gemini Pl., a smaller-format concept that carries furniture, décor and appliances.

Wayfair has also begun hiring associates for the Dublin location, another sign the outlet is preparing to open. The company has not yet announced an official opening date, but check back for updates on the timeline.
