Stolen car crashes into historic Dublin building
New year, same issue with cars crashing into buildings. Around 8:30 A.M. On Wednesday morning an SUV ran into Donatos Pizza in downtown Dublin, located at 6 South High St.

According to Dublin Police, the vehicle was reported stolen. The SUV was first spotted by police when it sped through a school zone on Wednesday morning. The suspects fled, and reportedly ran a red light at the intersection of West Bridge and High St. where a car was struck before the vehicle crashed into the historic Dublin building that is currently home to Donatos Pizza.
According to a Facebook post, two suspects fled the crash but were later taken to the hospital for evaluation. The historic Dublin building known as “Thomas House” is on the National Register of Historic Places and is nearly 200 years old.
