American Campus Communities is reportedly planning a combined church and student housing development on the site located at 2195 N. High St. The project will include both the current site of The Little Bar, and the existing location of University Baptist Church at 50 W. Lane Ave., with both properties set to be demolished and rebuilt.

Plans call for a nine-story building with 845 student housing beds, with the first floor serving as the new home for University Baptist Church and student housing units above. On the current church property, a twelve-story development is in the works. Services for the church have temporarily moved to 30 W. Woodruff Ave. until the new building is ready. A demolition date for the project has not yet been confirmed.
