This Downtown Hilliard business is for sale
A boutique offering shoes and clothing located in the heart of Downtown Hilliard is looking for a buyer.
Owner Lauren McKinniss–who purchased the business in 2020, after it originally opened in 2017–the Central Ohio business was officially listed for sale on April 8, due to both personal and professional reasons.
“I work full-time for the real estate development company that owns our building (Westwood Collective), and with the continued growth in Hilliard, including our recent win of the Chase site directly across the street. I’m stepping into an even busier season professionally,” she said. “On a personal note, I also recently got engaged, which has shifted my priorities. I’m incredibly proud of what Urban Market has become, and I feel like it’s the right time to pass it on to someone who can continue to grow it with the same level of passion.”

McKinniss, who is an executive assistant at Hilliard real estate developer The Westwood Collective, said that she would like to see the Urban Market name and concept carry on with a new buyer, but is also “very open to a new owner evolving the brand over time.”
Whoever takes over the space will be landing a great location for a business of any kind, according to McKinniss.
“This location truly is a gold mine, with the growth happening in downtown Hilliard, the foot traffic, and the momentum of new development, there’s so much potential.”
If you’re interested in buying Urban Market, which is located at 4055 Main St., STE 200 in Hilliard, you can contact her at Lauren@westwoodcollective.com.
