This Ohio city is the third most-stressed place in America, according to new WalletHub study

Cleveland, Ohio ranked number 3rd most stressed in America

Among 180 U.S. cities, WalletHub ranked the most and least stressed cities in America. Several Ohio cities made the list, you might be surprised at their rankings.

Coming in at number three on the list, Cleveland was ranked one of the most stressful cities to live in just behind Detroit, Michigan and Baltimore, Maryland. According to WalletHub, the study compared more than 180 cities across 39 key metrics. The data set accounted for average weekly hours worked, the unemployment rate, divorce rates, and more.

Ohio ranked fairly high-stress on the list, with Akron coming in at number nine, Toledo at number 12, and Cincinnati at 18. Columbus ranked in the top third of most-stressful cities, coming in 59th out of 180. We don’t know if WalletHub factored in cars driving into buildings, but if that metric was used it may help explain the Columbus ranking. Read the full study here, and see where other cities rank.
