Traffic Dill-ema: Ohio Highway temporarily closes after truck hauling pickles crashes, spills cargo
We’ve seen Ohio roadways closed for everything from wildlife to Frank’s Red Hot Sauce, and now, we can add another item to that list: pickles.
According to a social media post from the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT), a stretch of State Route 316 (which runs through Pickaway County) was closed yesterday following the crash of a truck hauling pickles. State Route 316 has reopened following the incident.

“There was quite a pickle today on SR 316 in Pickaway County,” the ODOT post reads. “The roadway is currently closed due to a crash involving a truck hauling pickles. Thankfully, the driver was uninjured. The pickles, however, are speared.”
