Wallaby escapes, hops through Downtown of major Ohio city
The city of Dayton is nearly 10,000 miles from Sydney, Australia, but after a unique incident last Friday, you may have been able to mix them up for a second.
That’s because a wallaby escaped from its owner before hopping around the campus of Sinclair Community College, according to a Dayton Daily News story.
The animal is the personal pet of Carolyn Reno, an associate professor of veterinary technology at Sinclair Community College. The Wallaby, whose name is Kipper, was brought to the school to offer students experience working with wild animals, which Kipper is considered.
