Celebrate ARTober in Columbus This Fall

31 Days. Endless Experiences. 1 Creative Columbus.

Columbus celebrates the arts year-round, but this October, in recognition of National Arts & Humanities Month, the Greater Columbus Arts Council and its partners invite everyone to make it an ARTober—experience the arts, support local artists and advocate for a vibrant creative community.

With hundreds of arts and cultural experiences happening across Columbus, October is the perfect time to explore something new. Buy a ticket. Purchase local art. Catch a band. Visit a gallery. See a show. And when you discover an artist or experience you love, spread the word.

ARTober offers something for everyone: hear emerging musicians and national touring acts; meet artists at gallery nights and studio tours; explore historic and contemporary works in museums; discover street performers during neighborhood arts hops; see independent films; and experience everything from ballet, theater and symphonies to drag performances.

Find events—and special ARTober Deals—at ColumbusMakesArt.com/Artober.

You can also take the arts outside. Explore more than two dozen public art tours or discover public art throughout central Ohio at ColumbusMakesArt.com/public-art. These features are also available through the ArtWalks app.

Finally, use your voice. Visit ArtsVoteOhio.org and ArtsVote.org to learn how you can advocate for the arts.

This October: attend, explore, support, share and advocate. Make it an ARTober!
