From world champions to winning bloodlines, the March issue of ‘Reiner’ has arrived
Did you know that The American Quarter Horse Congress–billed as the world’s largest horse show–was started, and is still held, right here in Columbus?
While The Congress won’t return to Central Ohio until September, you can get your equine fix just as well with the March 2026 issue of Reiner, which is on stands now.
In case you didn’t already know, the sport of reining (which relies primarily on quarter horses) is a fun, fast-paced form of equine competition that showcases horses’ athleticism (and a rider’s control) through a variety of spins, patterns and stops.
The March issue of Reiner features the 2025 National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) world champions, led by Belgian rider Bernard Fonck and GP Peptos Olena Blue.
It also includes up to date happenings in the world of NRHA and reining overall, a story on Andrea Fappani being the first-ever rider to break the $10 million lifetime earnings mark and even a look back at the bloodlines of some of the sport’s most prominent champions.
