Learn how to make some of Columbus’ best cocktails straight from the source with ‘Whiskey’ Pete Wagner
While Valentine’s day has come and gone, a good drink is timeless.
In the new episode of Sip & Stay–our video series where Brown Forman brand ambassador “Whiskey” Pete Wagner travels around Central Ohio to try some of the city’s best cocktails and learn to make them–Pete stops by the Short North hotspot Denmark on High, which is located at 463 N. High St.
Denmark on High mixologist Gary teaches Pete how to craft their whiskey-forward speciality cocktail, That’s Amore.
A riff on the classic godfather cocktail, it combines Woodford Reserve Double Oaked, housemade amaretto, amaro, several dashes of orange bitters, “just a scant little hint” of turbinado syrup and an orange garnish. Add ice and stir, and That’s Amore (get it?).
