Columbus is getting a Korean-style convenience store and “ramen library”
Columbus is getting one of the city’s first Korean-style convenience stores, and it doubles as a ramen spot. Ramyun EZ is set to open this Friday, April 10 at 5025 Olentangy River Rd., in Columbus.
Located in the former Tea Zone Bakery and Cafe space, Ramyun EZ is part convenience store, part cafe, and part restaurant. The concept is owned and operated by Johae Chong, owner of Don Pocha Korean BBQ, and his son, Saejin Chong. The spot promises to be a one-stop shop for all your Korean cravings.

Guests will be able to select from 60 different packaged ramen flavors, Chong has described it as a “ramen library”. Automated machines allow you to add hot water, along with a wide selection of fresh ingredients, for the perfect custom bowl of ramen. Dining out? That’s not a problem, you can take home any of the fresh ingredients for an at-home hot pot.
In addition to noodles, you can expect convenience store items and Korean groceries. The restaurant side features Korean favorites and street foods like Bungeo-ppang, kimbap, corn dogs, dumplings, sweet potatoes, rice cakes, sweet treats, espresso drinks, and more. See their Instagram for announcements and updates.
