“Unfortunately, someone stole the entire cash box from our roadside stand, so we are officially closed for the year. So, to our fellow local stands please keep an eye on your cash boxes,” the business’ post reads. “And to whoever took it…you must’ve really needed that cash. Next time, just come up to the house. We’ll give you a loaf of bread, peanut butter, or some lunch meat. If you’re hurting that badly for money, I’d much rather help you than have you steal from us.”
The roadside stand, which is located at 5795 Reynoldsburg Baltimore Rd., is first come, first served, and is based on the honor system. It’s unclear how much money was stolen, and when the stand’s season typically ends.
