Global dessert shop chain opening first Ohio location

A popular dessert cafe specializing in Halal crepes, waffles, and all things Belgian chocolate is coming to Ohio for the first time. 

Melt n Dip, a global chain that currently boasts 26 locations across the US—with multiple locations in Illinois, Michigan, and Florida—Canada, and Lebanon, will set up shop at 6313 Sawmill Rd. It’s anticipated to open at the end of April, early May at the latest, according to the general contractor at ACOY Properties, the construction company building the space.

The eatery’s signature offerings include their viral Dubai chocolate strawberry cup, Dubai chocolate crepe, brownies waffle, and Éclair Pyramid, a stack of mini cream-filled puffs topped with milk, dark, and white Belgian chocolate. The dessert spot also serves chocolate-covered fruits, fresh fruit salad, gelato, cheesecake, milkshakes, coffee, and juice. 

An official menu for the Dublin location has yet to be announced.
